Situated on the edge of a sprawling forest landscape in Zeist lies this extraordinary house with an impressive garden that blends seamlessly into its natural surroundings. Its residents were longing for a modern, but most importantly, comfortable garden: a luxurious outdoor space that would bring nature indoors while also providing a bright, spacious and modern haven for relaxation and togetherness.

The garden features several different levels, making it both inviting and functional. A sheltered space has been created under the canopy for gatherings, while the children can have fun on the hockey pitch and trampoline. The combination of open spaces and intimate corners makes the garden flexible and attractive to all ages.

To enhance the natural look, the Golden Oak Enhanced Grain boards from Millboard were chosen. Their warm colour and lifelike texture literally bring nature closer, making these high-quality boards the perfect match for indoor flooring. With an eye for detail and the play of lines, the decking boards have been used in several different places throughout the garden: as a raised partition near the hockey pitch (where they also serve as a pedestal for the large plant pots) and on the two terraces adjacent to the house. One of these terraces extends into the steps to the lower garden area, which is also finished with Millboard boards. Boards have been added as a design element at the side of the house, providing a nice contrast to the dark grey pebbles and tiles. The result is a harmonious and luxurious atmosphere that is both soothing and inviting.
