Inspiring show garden

To achieve a truly exclusive ambiance in Studio Linda Wester's show garden, Alterwood's Millboard boards were included as one of the featured materials. As a result, it incorporates the beautiful look and feel of wood!

Studio Linda Wester designs sustainable high-end gardens with an eye for the surrounding environment, the style of the house and the owner's personal taste. Her signature style is combining greenery with clean lines and organic shapes in a timeless design. This is seen in her own garden, which serves as a showcase to inspire others. She used several different products there, including Millboard from Alterwood.

This garden features composite boards around the swimming pool and the adjacent sun terrace, providing the look and feel of wood, without the drawbacks.

The stylish, modern Enhanced Grain board and the Golden Oak shade that was chosen closely match the style of the house in terms of appearance, while contrasting beautifully with the other materials used. Golden Oak is the durable, versatile classic choice with the look and feel of natural wood. The natural light-golden hue creates a soothing atmosphere. Besides the aesthetic factor, durability and material quality were also considered.

The decking boards have a unique composition that prevents them from warping or splintering. Thanks to the resilient, non-porous Lastane™ top layer, algae cannot adhere. Moreover, the material is inherently non-slip, so there is no danger of slipping in wet weather or around a swimming pool. An additional advantage is that the specially developed screws disappear in the top layer, so you can walk around barefoot without risk. As the top layer is UV and weather resistant, it will not discolour or rot. Matching edging was used for a pristine finish around the pool, creating a seamlessly integrated look. Alterwood's Millboard boards combine the luxurious, distinctive look of wood with durability and ease of maintenance.
