Millboard boards
Millboard Weathered Oak boards can also be used on façades. The boards are precise, hand-formed mouldings of timber boards with coarse and finer texture. Each board is hand-finished. Due to the colour shades and wood grain, the boards are surprisingly natural looking and can hardly be distinguished from the real thing.
Thanks to its unique properties, the boards are not affected by weather conditions. Discolouration, mould and rot are a thing of the past, as is sanding and treating.
Thanks to its dimensional stability (with a very low coefficient of expansion), the boards do not warp and it is possible to make mitred corners and glue the boards together. This means you can create perfect mitred corners. The ‘lost head’ effect also adds to the aesthetic appeal.
Millboard is UV resistant, does not discolour and is easy to install. Weathered Oak boards can be used to create an open façade system. By using the specially developed finishing products, the façade can be perfectly finished, ensuring that the initial design remains very beautiful for many years. All Millboard façade cladding can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. This obviously provides enormous architectural freedom! Millboard cladding is available in various colours and can be mounted on timber or (preferably) plastic battens.
