Terrace deck alongside pond at tasteful villa

From an aesthetic and practical point of view, Millboard Enhanced Grain decking boards from Alterwood were chosen: a clean, modern board with a contemporary look.

Clean-lined shapes and stylish materials meet in this designer garden with pond at a tasteful villa in Uithoorn. Landscape architects Visser Tuinen created a design in which the pond and terrace take centre stage, connecting indoors with outdoors.

The large terrace runs from the villa to the garden rooms and frames the pond. From an aesthetic and practical point of view, Millboard Enhanced Grain decking boards from Alterwood were chosen: a clean, modern board with a contemporary look. Coppered Oak's beautiful red-brown tones and depth of colour are reminiscent of high-quality hardwood. Thus, as is fitting for a designer garden with a pond, the terrace radiates luxury and class.

Thanks to the unique composition of the decking boards and the resilient, non-porous Lastane™ top layer, algae cannot take hold. The material is inherently grippy and, as such, very slip-resistant. It is therefore ideal around water features, as well as being a huge advantage in wet weather. The top layer is also UV and weather resistant, preventing discolouration and rotting. This terrace is a durable, maintenance-free solution that will not need looking after for years.
