A Durable Subframe Made from 100% Recycled Plastic

Plas-Pro joists, beams and posts are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic. This all-weather material does not absorb moisture like timber and is resistant to rot, splintering and splitting.
This makes Plas-Pro a particularly durable and practical alternative to a traditional timber subframe, especially in environments where moisture plays an important role.
Think of a (roof) terrace, a garden deck, a waterside deck or the area surrounding a swimming pool.

Why Do Fixings Remain Secure in Plas-Pro?

Timber subframes naturally respond to changing levels of temperature and moisture. Over time, repeated expansion and contraction can affect the stability of the structure and its fixings.

Plas-Pro behaves differently. Because the material isn’t affected by moisture in the same way as timber, it provides a stable foundation for the fixings used to secure your Millboard decking.
The result is a strong and reliable subframe designed to keep your deck stable over the long term.

How Do You Install a Plas-Pro Subframe?

For securely connecting Plas-Pro posts and joists, we recommend using the specially coated Hexhead screws.
These fixings make it possible to construct a solid frame that provides the foundation for the Millboard decking boards above.

A Clean Finish with Virtually Invisible Fixings

To secure Millboard decking to Plas-Pro joists, we recommend Durafix® stainless steel screws.
These dedicated fixings can be driven directly through the Millboard board into the Plas-Pro subframe without the need to pre-drill the decking.

Once the screw is installed, Millboard’s resilient Lastane® surface closes back over the screw head. This creates Millboard’s distinctive Lost Head® effect, leaving the fixing virtually hidden from view.
The result is a strong fixing combined with a clean, uninterrupted deck surface—so the structure underneath does its job without distracting from the finished design.
